EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 30-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly injuring a child, the Horizon City Police Department said.
Horizon Police said they arrested Carlos Herrera, 30, of Horizon City, on April 4 in connection with an ongoing investigation involving injury to a child.
The investigation began on March 10, when police received a report alleging Herrera had physically abused a child under the age of 10 years old, Horizon Police said.
Horizon Police said evidence obtained during the investigation corroborated the allegations, and an arrest warrant was obtained for Herrera’s arrest.
Herrera was located at his residence in Horizon City and taken into custody without incident. He was processed at the Horizon City Police Department and later transported to the El Paso County Detention Facility, where he was booked on the outstanding warrant.
