EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A “serious accident” involving a pedestrian has closed Darrington Road in both directions between Horizon and Nunda, according to the Horizon City Police Department.

The Horizon Police released the following statement regarding the incident on their Facebook page:
“Good Evening Horizon City, we wanted to inform our community that our Police Officers are investigating a serious accident involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Darrington and Pawling. Darrington Road will remain closed in both directions between Horizon and Nunda as our officers investigate this incident. We will keep you posted as more information becomes available.”
