EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Horizon Police Department conducted a one-day, multi-agency Warrant Round-Up earlier this month, which the department called a “strategic and tactical success.”
The operation was conducted on May 10 and was aimed at locating individuals with outstanding municipal traffic warrants from the Horizon City Municipal Court, Horizon Police said.
Thirteen people, with a total of 28 outstanding warrants, were safely located, detained, and processed through the municipal court, Horizon Police said.
Officers visited 55 addresses, “demonstrating a strong commitment to resolving outstanding municipal traffic warrants,” the department said.
A total of $6,549.10 in bond payments was collected, Horizon Police said.
No transports to County jail were required, as all individuals resolved their issues by posting bond.
There were no injuries, no use of force, and “no significant disturbances,” Horizon Police said.
“The operation highlighted the value of interagency coordination, clear communication, and community-focused enforcement, reinforcing both public safety and judicial accountability,” Horizon Police said.
