EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 19-year-old man was arrested and charged with DWI after he was allegedly involved in a motor-vehicle crash in Horizon City, Horizon Police said.
Gerardo Montalvo, 19, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, Horizon Police said. His bond was set at $2,000.
At about 4:15 a.m. on Aug. 14, Horizon Police were called out about a crash along the 14000 block of Horizon Boulevard.
When they arrived, they said the driver, identified as Montalvo, showed multiple signs of intoxication.
Montalvo agreed to perform standardized field sobriety tests, which confirmed signs of his impairment, police said.
He later provided a breath specimen at HCPD headquarters, which returned a result above the legal limit, Horizon Police said.
