KTSM News – Inside Ghosts915 HQ & Wigwam Museum: Meet El Paso’s paranormal investigators and resident ghost

Posted on October 13, 2025

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Nestled in the heart of downtown El Paso, where the past meets the paranormal, is a place where history and hauntings coexist. Welcome to Ghosts915 HQ, the headquarters for El Paso’s top paranormal investigators, and home to an ethereal resident who has been part of the team for years. This isn’t just any haunted hotspot; it’s located inside the Wigwam Museum, a cultural gem that tells the story of El Paso’s vibrant history, while also hosting a few lingering spirits.

Built in 1883, the Wigwam Museum is steeped in history. It’s much more than a museum, it’s the official base of operations for the Paso del Norte Paranormal Society, better known as Ghosts915. This non-profit group of passionate ghost hunters has restored the building and turned it into a haven for both the living and the not-so-living.

But there’s something, or rather, someone, very special about this place. Meet Lily, the museum’s resident ghost, who has been haunting the Wigwam for as long as the investigators can remember. Lily doesn’t just make a dramatic entrance; she’s a full-time presence. She’s known to glide through rooms, interact with the team, and occasionally make her presence known to visitors, leaving them with goosebumps, a tingling sense of wonder, and sometimes, a few unanswered questions.

During a tour of the museum, we were taken to Lily’s special corner in the basement, a space the paranormal team has carefully set up for her. It’s equipped with EMF readers, voice boxes, and other ghost-hunting gear, all ready to communicate with the unseen. And communicate they did. As we tried to reach Lily, some of the devices lit up, giving us a faint, chilling sense that she was right there with us.

The investigators aren’t just out to catch a ghostly glimpse. They use traditional Native American cleansing rituals, which they believe keep the space balanced and protect both visitors and spirits alike. Whether it’s through the flickering lights of their equipment or the faintest echo in the air, the team knows that the spirit world is always just a step away, and so is Lily.

But Ghosts915 isn’t just about hunting for paranormal activity. It’s about preserving the rich history of El Paso while exploring the mysteries that might just linger in the walls. The Wigwam Museum isn’t just a place to catch a spooky vibe; it’s a living, breathing piece of the city’s past, honoring the ghosts of history as well as the ones that may still roam the halls today.

If you’re ready to explore the unknown or simply hear a good ghost story wrapped in a rich cultural narrative, Ghosts915 HQ and the Wigwam Museum are ready to welcome you. Whether you’re a skeptic, a thrill-seeker, or a history buff with a fondness for the supernatural, there’s something here for everyone.

Check out Ghosts915.org for details on upcoming tours, prices, and how you can book your own paranormal adventure, just don’t be surprised if you find Lily hanging around.
