EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Northeast El Paso is getting a Jersey Mike’s Subs.
The new Jersey Mike’s will at 4824 Woodrow Bean Transmountain and will open at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1.
This will be the fifth Jersey Mike’s location in El Paso and it will employ 25 people, franchise owner Abel Gonzalez said.


To celebrate the grand opening, there will be a fundraiser from Oct. 1 through Oct. 5 to benefit the Children’s Grief Center of El Paso. Customers who receive a special fundraising coupon distributed through a grassroots effort prior to the opening can make a minimum $3 contribution to Children’s Grief Center of El Paso in exchange for a regular sub. Customers must have a coupon to be eligible, accoding a news release.
Since 2010, Jersey Mike’s has raised more than $175 million for local charities, the company said.
Jersey Mike’s specializes in fresh sliced or grilled subs.
The company has 4,000 locations that are either open or in development.
The new restaurant’s hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.
