EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Junior League of El Paso celebrated 92 years of service with a groundbreaking event for its new headquarters.

Through the renovation project, the headquarters will be updated with new plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems and improved energy efficiency, according to the news release by the Junior League.

The Junior League’s “Beyond Blueprint” campaign has raised nearly 75 percent of the fundraiser goal to help pay for the “uplift” of the building, raising nearly $400,000, according to the Junior League. The organization is still seeking additional donations and support for the project.

According to the Junior League, the project to renovate the headquarters will help the organization continue to organize its mission to impact the community through meaningful volunteer action.

“Our mission, to advance women’s leadership through volunteer action and training, is complemented by our vision to proactively address the needs of El Paso. This renovation will strengthen our ability to initiate and collaborate with community groups on high-impact projects, particularly those focused on mental and physical health, aligning with our current focus area established in 2017,” according to the Junior League.
