EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — French-founded and French-owned la Madeleine is coming to the growing Eastlake area of El Paso County, the company announced.
The la Madeleine location in Eastlake will open at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 13395 Gateway West Blvd. in the Eastlake Markplace Center.
It will be the fourth café and bakery in the El Paso area for the French-founded and French-owned company.
The 4,500 square-foot café has capacity for nearly 150 guests and is the first la Madeleine in El Paso to include a drive-thru, making it just the second drive-thru location systemwide, the company said.
To celebrate, la Madeleine will offer the first 100 guests on opening day a free baguette.
“The new El Paso Eastlake café gives locals another opportunity to enjoy a little escape to France with classic French pastries and breads plus la Madeleine’s famous French comfort food,” said la Madeleine Vice President of Marketing Kerri McLeroy. “We have seen so much enthusiasm throughout the community about our new location and look forward to serving the area for years to come.”
The French café was founded in Dallas in 1983 and has since grown to over 80 locations across the United States.
The Eastlake location will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
