EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Los Angeles rapper Lefty Gunplay along with two other men were arrested during a traffic stop this past Sunday, Feb. 23, in East Central El Paso, according to El Paso Police.
Franklin Scott Holladay, 30, also known as Lefty Gunplay was arrested for not wearing his seatbelt, possession of a controlled substance, and having a prohibited substance in a correction facility, according to police.



Police say just before 3 p.m. that Sunday, they were patrolling the area near 6351 Gateway West when they saw a vehicle southbound on Buffalo Soldier.
Police say the front passenger and the rear passenger were not wearing seatbelts and a traffic stop was conducted.
During the traffic stop, Rennell Cordova, 46, who was driving the vehicle was found to have cocaine.
Rafael Rueda, 40, along with Holladay were arrested for not wearing their seatbelts, according to police. Police did not specify who was the front passenger and who was the rear passenger.
While at the El Paso County Detention Facility, Holladay was found to have methamphetamine. He was charged additionally for possession of a controlled substance and for having a prohibited substance in a correction facility, according to police.
