Trout, who did knockdown Palomino in the fourth round, claimed a 49-45 unanimous decision win in the main event of BKFC 57.

“I am the champ of the BKFC and I’m going to be here for a long time, so get tired of me,” Trout said in his post-fight interview. “You can get tired of me, but I’m not going nowhere.”

In Trout’s second ever fight with the organization, he secured a second straight win to make him the first world champion gloved boxer to earn a BKFC World Championship, per BKFC. Trout also became the first fighter to hand Palomino (9-1) his first defeat in his bareknuckle fighting career.
