EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A Las Cruces bicyclist has died after a crash on Tuesday evening, Jan. 7, in Las Cruces, according to the Las Cruces Police Department.

Police say just after 7 p.m. that Tuesday, they were dispatched to a report of a crash near the intersection of north Alameda Boulevard and Harvard Drive.

First responders arrived at the crash and found Lorenzo Espinoza, 61, who was found unconscious and with critical injuries, police said.

Espinoza was transported to Mountainview Regional Medical Center where he later died as a result of his injuries.
