LAS CRUCES, N.M. (KTSM) — The Las Cruces Police Department (LCPD) is continuing its Lunchbox Lemonade community outreach event this Thursday, July 24.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday at the Metro Verde Splash Pad, located at 7125 Metro Park St.
LCPD said the series is designed to encourage residents to have lunch with the Las Cruces Police Department’s Community Outreach Team to discuss police matters and share their concerns about public safety while staying cool in the summer heat.
In addition, LCPD also released the next Lunchbox Lemonade event dates:
- Thursday, Aug. 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Unidad Park Splash Pad, 1501 E. Hadley Ave.
- Thursday, Aug 21 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Plaza De Las Cruces Splash Pad, 100 N. Main St.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch. LCPD will provide free popsicles and Raising Cane’s will supply free lemonade for all attendees, the department said.
