UPDATE: Savannah Aguilar has been found and Alexander Madrid has been arrested, according to the Las Cruces Police Department.
LAS CRUCES, N.M. (KTSM) — The Las Cruces Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 26-year-old woman and a man who they say is wanted in connection with her disappearance on Wednesday morning, July 23, in Las Cruces.
New Mexico State Police said Savannah Aguilar, 26, was last seen around 7 a.m. on July 23 on Avis Road. Her clothing description is unknown.
Aguilar is described as 5-foot-2 inches tall, weighs 155 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes, according to State Police.
Additionally, State Police said Alexander Madrid is wanted in connection with a kidnapping that occurred at the same time as Aguilar’s disappearance. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.
