EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Las Cruces Police Department investigated what appeared to be a murder-suicide on Tuesday, July 8, in Sonoma Ranch.
Police say after 4 p.m. on Tuesday, they responded to the report of two gunshot victims inside a home on the 2200 block of Sun Chaser Place in Sonoma Ranch.
Police arrived and discovered Raymond Gonzales 69, and Michelle Gonzales, 57, who were deceased inside the home. Both appeared to have gunshot wounds, police said.
The final determination on the cause of their deaths will be made by the New Mexico Medical Investigator’s Office, police said.
