EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Las Cruces Police Department’s (LCPD) Community Outreach Team is inviting the community to cool off with lemonade at an area splash pad.

The “Lunchbox Lemonade” series encourages residents to have lunch with the Community Outreach Team and discuss with the public about public safety and police matters, according to the news release by LCPD.
According to LCPD, the series will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the splash pads across Las Cruces and participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch. LCPD will provide free popsicles and lemonade, courtesy of Raising Cane’s.
The series will be at the following locations:
June 7, Plaza De Las Cruces, 100 N. Main St.
June 28, Metro Verde Splash Pad, 7125 Metro Park St.
July 12, Unidad Park Splash Pad, 1501 E. Hadley Ave.
July 26, Plaza De Las Cruces Splash Pad, 100 N. Main St.
Aug. 9, Metro Verde Splash Pad, 7125 Metro Park St.
