EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The Las Cruces Police Department (LCPD) Community Outreach unit will help local businesses on Thursday to tackle some of the issues impacting them, such as vandalism, criminal damage, among others, the department announced in a news release.
LCPD said the six-hour operation will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 13.
Some of the issues impacting local businesses include vandalism, trespassing, squatting, soliciting, aggressive panhandling, criminal property damage, and abandoned shopping carts, among others, LCPD said.
LCPD said business owners or managers who are experiencing any of these problems – or other issues that could benefit from some attention – are encouraged to email the Community Outreach unit at CommunityOutreach@lascruces.gov before 9 a.m. on Thursday.
