EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Residents of Doña Ana County will have the opportunity to learn CPR and first-aid for free this weekend.
The Office of Emergency Management, in partnership with Doña Ana County, the City of Las Cruces and the American Red Cross, will host Save a Life Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 15 at locations throughout the County.
“The training introduces participants to essential life-saving techniques, including hands-only CPR, Stop the Bleed training and basic first aid. Everyone is encouraged to attend and equip themselves with skills that can help save a life, in an emergency. Participating in Save a Life Saturday will not result in certification. However, it will help participants develop and enhance the basic necessary skills to help during emergencies, throughout the community,” the County said in a news release.

- Butterfield
- Colquitt
- Delores Wright
- Doña Ana
- La Mesa
- Mesquite
- Organ
- Placitas
- Rincon
- Radium
- Vado/Del Cerro
Las Cruces Community Centers
- Branigan Library
- Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center
Childcare will be available at the Butterfield and Delores Wright centers.
