EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A service club organization is celebrating and honoring El Paso members for their dedication to their community.
The El Paso Five Points Lions Club’s 80th Annual Installation and Award Banquet will take place on Monday, June 10 in celebration of the achievements the club members have done for the 2023-2024 year.
El Paso Five Points Lions Club is a community service organization that assist key community issues through various service projects and initiatives, according to the news release by the club.
According to the organization, the El Paso Five Points Lions Club was established in 1945.
The club is a sub-part of Lions International, with over 1.4 million members worldwide, according to the El Paso Five Points Lions Club.
According to the club’s banquet program, the organization has raised over $19,000 for various local community projects and initiatives.
