EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The Magoffin Home State Historic Site announced its visitor center at 1117 Magoffin Ave. near Downtown El Paso is temporarily closed for construction.
The visitor center will remain closed until spring 2026, the Texas Historical Commission said in a news release.
The public is invited to visit the temporary visitor welcome space inside the Magoffin Home at 1120 Magoffin Ave. This location will serve as the hub for tours, orientation, ticket sales, and retail, according to the news release.
Parking remains available at 1117 Magoffin Ave.
The museum’s regular programs will continue uninterrupted, including the historic cooking classes, family story time, and special events in the Magoffin Home.
