EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 26-year-old man was taken into custody after deputies discovered he had two active criminal warrants after he parked in a handicap-accessible space without a handicap placard on Thursday, Aug. 8 in East El Paso, according to the El Paso County Constable Office Precinct Three.
The El Paso County Constable Office says a deputy was checking a vehicle that was parked in a handicap-accessible space without a handicap placard that Thursday at a Circle K located at 1520 N. Lee Trevino in East El Paso.
Kevin Andres Campo, 26, exited the store and stated the vehicle belonged to him, according to the El Paso County Constable Office.
A warrant check then revealed that Campo had an active criminal warrant for assault family violence with a $3,000 bond and an active criminal warrant for interference with an emergency request for assistance with a $1,000 bond.
Campo was then taken into custody and booked into the El Paso County Jail.
