EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 41-year-old El Paso man has been arrested and is facing multiple charges of deceptive business practices, El Paso Police said.
Emmanuel Cervantes, 41, was arrested on Jan. 16 and again on Jan. 22, police said.
The second time, he was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility with four charges of deceptive business practice with a previous conviction and one count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. His bonds totaled $120,000.
Police say their investigators with their Auto Theft Task Force found Cervantes and arrested him on Jan. 16 for two outstanding warrants for deceptive business practice.
During the investigation, police also learned that a vehicle left in the suspect’s auto shop for repairs was used by him without the owner’s permission.
Then, on Jan. 22, Cervantes was arrested again on two additional warrants of deceptive business practice, police said.
