EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 21-year-old man has been arrested on revocation warrants for aggravated sexual assault, and other charges after a standoff with law enforcement in East El Paso, the El Paso County Constable’s Office Precinct 3 announced on Wednesday, Feb. 12.
Anthony Rey Provencio, 21, was arrested on active personal recognizance bond revocation warrants for two counts of aggravated sexual assault and one count of sexual assault with bonds totaling $130,000, the Constable’s Office said.
The Constable’s Office said Provencio also had active criminal warrants for three counts of engaging in organized criminal activity, two counts of aggravated robbery, and one count of robbery with a $86,000 total bond; one count of assault and one count of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance with bonds totaling $87,000.
Deputies located Provencio at the 2000 block of Solano Drive, and after over an hour standoff, he was taken into custody, the Constable’s Office said.
Provencio was booked into the El Paso County Jail without further incident, the Constable’s Office said.
The Constable’s Office said deputies from Precinct 1, 2, and 6 assisted in arresting Provencio.
