KTSM News – Man arrested for allegedly owing $100K in back child, other support

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Deputies with El Paso County Constable’s Office for Precinct 3 arrested a 40-year-old man who allegedly owed more than $100,000 in child, medical and dental support.

The Constable’s Office said they arrested 40-year-old Raymond Teruel on Tuesday, Oct. 20.

He was taken into custody along the 4800 block of Round Rock and booked into El Paso County Jail without incident.

“This arrest is part of an ongoing law enforcement operation focused on locating and
apprehending individuals with active warrants for failing to pay child support,” the Constable’s Office said.

Citizens with information on individuals who have active warrants are encouraged to contact the Office of Constable Hector Bernal (Precinct 3) at (915) 273-3590 or Crime Stoppers of El Paso at (915) 566-TIPS (8477).
