KTSM News – Man arrested for DWI after crash in Clint

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 39-year-old man was arrested for drunk driving after he crashed his vehicle on Saturday, Oct. 25, in Clint, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPCSO).

Shortly before 5:45 p.m. on Saturday, deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Celum and Coffin roads.

Upon arrival, deputies observed that the driver responsible for the crash, later identified as 39-year-old Victor Rodriguez Jr., displayed clear signs of intoxication, according to EPCSO.

Rodriguez Jr. provided breath specimens of 0.411 and 0.421, more than five times the legal limit of 0.08 in Texas, according to EPCSO.

He was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility for driving while intoxicated under a $7,000 bond.
