EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 36-year-old man was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 23, two weeks after evading arrest from the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office in East El Paso County.
Victor Corral, 36, of Montana Vista, was charged with evading arrest or detention with a vehicle with previous convictions. He was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility without bond, EPCSO said.

On Monday, Oct. 6, deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop near Peyton Hills Road and Eastlake Boulevard on an SUV. The driver failed to stop and continued southbound on Eastlake Boulevard, where deputies lost the vehicle, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Two weeks later, detectives located the same SUV around 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 20, along the 9900 block of Moses Drive in Socorro.
The vehicle was impounded and “secured as evidence,” according to EPCSO. Detectives were able to identify the driver as Corral.
On Thursday, Oct. 23, Corral was located along the 12500 block of Montana Avenue, attempting to retrieve his vehicle, when he was then taken into custody.
