EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A man was arrested this week on a felony warrant for debit card abuse after he was involved in a three-vehicle crash in Northeast El Paso, according to the El Paso County Constable’s Office for Precinct 2.
Jacob Rae Hernandez was arrested on Tuesday, June 10, on a felony warrant for debit card abuse. He was booked into the El Paso County Jail with no bond, according to the Constable’s Office.
According to the Constable’s Office, minutes after 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, deputies were investigating a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. 54 North and Gateway North.
When deputies were conducting the investigation, they observed that one of the individuals involved in the crash had “removed their plates prior to deputies’ arrival,” the Constable’s Office said.
According to the Constable’s Office, upon further investigation, the driver who removed his plates was identified as Hernandez and was found to have a felony warrant.
