EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 29-year-old man has been arrested for shooting another man on Tuesday, Sept. 30, in South-Central El Paso, according to the El Paso Police Department (EPPD).
Alan Guillermo Torres, 29, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon with no bond.
Shortly after 1 p.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to the area of Newman and Magoffin to a report of shots being fired.
Officers were later notified that a 38-year-old victim was at a local hospital with a gunshot wound, and after further investigation, officers obtained a warrant for Torres.
He was then booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility, according to police.
