EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 45-year-old man was arrested last week in Horizon City after he was found allegedly stealing money from his job at an auto parts store, according to the Horizon City Police Department.
Erik Lucky Farrias was charged with theft of property and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility with an outstanding warrant bond set at $5,000, Horizon City Police said.
According to the department, on June 24, officers made a report of theft when the account manager noticed the auto parts store account was being used without his consent.
During the investigation, on July 21, detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division identified Farrias, a worker at the store, as the main suspect, Horizon City Police said.
Horizon City Police said the investigation led them to a residence along the 14900 block of Colonia Tierra, where Farrias was then arrested.
