EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Police Department is investigating a murder after a 63-year-old man was found dead with injuries that police said appear to be stab wounds on Monday morning, Sept. 15, in a home in South-Central El Paso.
Shortly after 8 a.m. on Monday, officers responded to a welfare check at a home in the 1900 block of Olive Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers located Jorge Serna, 63, dead with “injuries consistent with stab wounds,” EPPD said.
The Crimes Against Persons Unit assumed the investigation.
