EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A shooting suspect described to be a 52-year-old man is currently at large and the Las Cruces Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying him.
Police say at around 2 p.m. on July 17, they responded to the 900 block of Melendres in reference to a vehicle crash.
The fresh had gone through multiple yards before coming to a stop as the driver remained trapped inside the vehicle.
Officers arrived at the scene and found that the driver had been shot before the crash, police say.
Detectives believe an unknown make or model sedan, four doors, and silver or gray in color was involved in the shooting.
