EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 39-year-old man has been identified after he died in an officer-involved shooting back in August in East El Paso.
Police say Michael Abraham Hobbs, 39, died after an officer-involved shooting at the 11200 block of Vista Del Sol on Friday afternoon, Aug. 23, in East El Paso.
As we have previously reported, Hobbs died during an attempted arrest that Friday as he had warrants for robbery.
Hobbs brandished a weapon and officers responded by shooting him, according to police.
Three different investigations were being conducted at the time of the shooting. Police did not say whether those investigations have been concluded.
