EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The 61-year-old man who was previously arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run back in July in Sunland Park was arrested again on DWI and other charges, according to jail records.
Vicente Vasquez Jr., 61, was arrested shortly before 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 19, and charged with aggravated DWI and driving while license suspended.

As we had reported, Vasquez, who was taken into custody on Saturday, July 5, was charged with vehicular homicide, immediate notice of accident, leaving the scene, failure to stop and render aid, and tampering with evidence after striking a man and a woman and fleeing the scene.
The 26-year-old woman, identified as Graciela Citlali-Tonazin Sahs, died at the scene, while the male victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
After the incident, Vasquez later bonded out of jail.
Additionally, Vasquez had multiple DWI convictions in Texas and New Mexico. He was sentenced to eight years by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in 2017, according to records.
