EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 28-year-old man was recently arrested for having an outstanding criminal warrant from the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office for alleged injury to a child, elderly individual, or disabled individual on Wednesday, July 24.
The Sheriff’s Office says at around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to the intersection of De Alva Drive and Clipper Road in Canutillo in reference to “theft information.”
Upon arrival, deputies met with the victim who directed them to the location of Andrew Martinez, 28.
Deputies then located Martinez who was found to have an outstanding criminal warrant for injury to a child, elderly individual, or disabled individual as well as two additional traffic warrants, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office says they also located a reported stolen motorcycle at the scene.
Martinez was processed and booked into the El Paso County Downtown Facility under a $20,800 bond for the outstanding criminal warrant and the two traffic warrants.
The scene was released to the Anthony Police Department who was initially investigating the theft case.
