EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The New Mexico Border Authority, New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration will be partnering up to conduct a series of in-person Border Highway Connector Study (CN) meetings around Sunland Park this weekend, according to NMDOT.
NMDOT says the purpose of the study is to “evaluate a future border highway roadway to improve access, mobility, and connectivity by establishing a new east/west corridor in the region of the United States-Mexico border.”
The meetings will be taking place on the following dates:
Friday, March 22
3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sunland Park Motor Vehicle Division located on 880 McNutt Rd, Sunland Park, NM 88063
Saturday, March 23
10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 23 at the Farmers Market at Ardovino’s Desert Crossing located on 1 Ardovinos Dr., Sunland Park, NM 88063
1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sunland Park Community Library located on 1000 McNutt Rd., Sunland Park, NM 88063.
