EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Mother’s Day is all about recognizing moms for their hard work, love and contributions to their families and society.
And a patient at Del Sol Medical Center, got a very special surprise from her daughter honoring motherhood.
Andrea Lucero, who suffers from dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, was surprised with a live performance from Mariachi Los Toritos while in the hospital.
Lucero and other patients gathered in the hallway to listen to the mariachi band. Her daughter also provided them with sweet treats as part of the celebration.
