EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Fire Department’s Combined Search and Rescue Team (ComSAR) successfully helped a mountain biker on Sunday, Aug. 17 on the east side of the Franklin Mountains, a Fire spokesperson said.
ComSAR was sent out at about 10:45 a.m. to the area near the Blue Moon and Mad Cow trails to help a mountain biker in need of assistance.
The patient was found and successfully brought down the mountain. The person was taken to a hospital with what are being called non-life-threatening injuries (Code 1), the spokesperson said.
