EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — It’s Mutt Monday at KTSM!
This week, our friends from El Paso Animal Services brought this adorable 2-3 months old female puppy for us to meet and hang out with!
This week is the start of the nationwide Clear the Shelters campaign. At El Paso Animal Services, they’re hosting a number of events in August to help get their pets to a loving home.
This is the 11th year El Paso Animal Services has partnered up with KTSM for this national adoption event. In previous years, we have been able to find homes for hundreds of pets.
With close to 1,000 pets currently in the shelter looking for homes, El Paso Animal Services is urgently asking for the community’s support to adopt or foster a pet in need. To help, the shelter is offering free adoptions on all pets throughout the campaign.
For anyone not looking to commit long-term to a pet, fostering is also a great option. Fostering a pet is free, and El Paso Animal Services provides all the supplies and medical care the pet would need.
