EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A national discount retail store is opening their newest location in West El Paso this Friday, June 28.
Burlington Stores will be celebrating the grand opening of their new Westside location at 7:45 a.m. on Friday, June 28 at 801 Sunland Park Dr.
“Our goal is to continue to offer area residents low prices on brand name merchandise for the entire family and home,” said Michael O’Sullivan, CEO of Burlington Stores. “We’re continuing to expand our footprint across the country and are excited to be opening a new store in El Paso, Texas. We look forward to giving local customers the chance to discover big savings on a wide range of products.”
The retail store said they will also be donating $5,000 to teachers at Putnam Elementary School at the grand opening ceremony, according to the news release by Burlington.
The donation is in partnership with a national nonprofit organization AdoptAClassroom, and the donations will be used to provide students with classroom materials.
The first 100 customers, ages 18 and older, can enjoy a $10 Bonus Card to be used towards their purchase on Friday, June 28 and Saturday, June 29, Burlington said.
Customers can also receive a free Burlington umbrella on Sunday, June 30 with no purchase, while supplies last.

With the opening of this new store, Burlington will have 116 stores in Texas and 1,020 nationwide, according to the company.
