EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Veterans Affairs (VA) Healthcare System is opening a new extended-hours clinic for El Paso veterans.
The clinic, at the main VA facility at 5001 N. Piedras, will open on Monday June 2.
It will be open from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The clinic is available for walk-ins only.
“This clinic is designed for enrolled veterans who need after-hours primary care for minor health conditions. If you can’t wait to see your primary care doctor or find yourself traveling and in need of prompt attention, this clinic is for you,” said a news release announcing the new clinic.
Services include treatment for:
Coughs/cold/flu
Sore throat
Earaches
Urinary symptoms
Skin conditions
Minor injuries
Strep throat
Sprains/strains
Acute lower back pain
X-ray or laboratory services will not be available at this clinic. However, Community Care Network Pharmacy services will be available.
