EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The New Mexico State Fair is finally underway in Albuquerque, and State Fair officials are offering several convenient transportation options to get attendees to the fairgrounds safely.
Here’s the list of transportation options, according to a news release sent by the State Fair:
Park and Ride
Park and ride services are available to the State Fair from Coronado Center, 6600 Menaul Blvd NE, on Saturdays and Sundays during the fair.
This service provides expedited entry straight onto the grounds with security screenings taking place before boarding.
On Saturdays, the service will run from Coronado Center to the State Fair from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. and from the State Fair to Coronado Center from 2:30 p.m. to midnight.
On Sundays, service will run from Coronado to the State Fair from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and from the State Fair to Coronado Center from 2:30 p.m. to midnight.
Ticket prices for Park and Ride are as follows:
Bus only ticket: $10
Bus plus adult admission: $25
Bus plus child admission: $20
Bus plus senior admission: $20
Children 5 and under: FREE
Bike Valet
The State Fair’s secure valet service ensures bikes are safely secured while attendees enjoy the fair, and it’s a great way to beat the traffic.
To reach the Bike Valet, enter through Gate 4 on San Pedro just north of Copper.
Ride Share
The State Fair has set up dedicated drop-off and pick-up zones for popular ride-share services like Uber and Lyft
