EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Sun Bowl Association is already preparing for a fall full of events in the El Paso area. There to help promote those events will be the newly elected Sun Court.
On Thursday, Sun Queen Caroline Glenne Mann and Lady-in-waiting Janais Millan Amato stopped by the KTSM Studio to talk about the upcoming year and their first few weeks on the Sun Court.
Mann is a Sophomore at the University of Georgia where she is majoring in Real Estate with minor in Landscape Studies. A graduate of Coronado High School, Mann was a three-year varsity volleyball letterman and received the honor of First Team All-District and First Team All-City both her junior and senior years. She served her school as both Junior and Senior Class President, was a member of Key Club, President’s Round Table, and was the Publicity Officer for the Crafting Kindness Club at Coronado High.
Amato, also a graduate of CHS, is majoring in Business with a minor in Marketing at the University of Texas at El Paso. Janais was on the Coronado Student Executive Committee as well as the softball and volleyball teams. At UTEP, Amato is one of the key contributors of the athletic marketing department.
