EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The New Mexico State Police’s South Zone Crime Suppression Bureau agents arrested 20 fugitives in February, New Mexico State Police said.
Included in those arrests was a man who was wanted for murder. On Feb. 6, NMSP agents, in collaboration with the Las Cruces Police Department, Texas Rangers and U.S. Marshals Service, located and apprehended Jesse Antillon in Las Cruces.
Antillon was wanted for murder, NM State Police said.
This is all part of “ongoing efforts to enhance public safety and hold those accountable for the crimes they’ve committed,” NMSP said.
“These arrests underscore our unwavering commitment to keeping New Mexico safe. By working closely with our state and federal partners, we can target and apprehend dangerous individuals and protect our communities. This collaborative approach ensures offenders are held accountable and helps prevent further harm to the public. The New Mexico State Police remain dedicated to proactive law enforcement strategies that enhance safety across the state,” NM State Police said.
