EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — For several generations of El Pasoans, the NorthEaster Parade has been a springtime tradition.
The 47th annual Mimbela Family NorthEaster Parade returns this year on Saturday, April 19 to help El Paso families celebrate Easter and spring.
The parade will kick off at 10 a.m. April 19 at Hercules and Diana in Northeast El Paso.
This year’s parade has more than 100 entries, according to organizers. These include school groups, City officials, youth sports organizations and community groups.
Dan Webb, founder of Veterans at Breakfast, is being honored as this year’s grand marshal.
The route starts at Hercules and Diana, proceeds north on Diana to Hondo Pass.
At Hondo Pass, the parade turns right and follows to Nations Tobin Park.
The parade each year attracts up to 15,000 spectators.
