Dignitaries from both sides of the border were present for the unveiling of the exhibit.
The exhibit features large recreations of world-famous Mata Ortiz pottery.
“This exhibition honors the artisans of Chihuahua, celebrates their enduring legacy, and invites the border community to experience a cultural heritage woven from history, creativity, and identity. Mata Ortiz pottery stands as one of Mexico’s most treasured artistic traditions, inspired by the ancient brilliance of Paquimé and Casas Grandes,” organizers said in a news release announcing the event.
The exhibit will be on view through Oct. 11.
