EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — PBS El Paso will host its second annual PBS KIDS Back to School Bash this weekend at the Outlet Shoppes at El Paso.
The free event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Free backpacks and school supplies will be given out, according a news release announcing the event.
“We are thrilled to bring our community together for the second annual PBS KIDS Back to School Bash,” said Andrea Alonso, marketing director for The Outlet Shoppes at El Paso. “Last year’s event was a tremendous success. PBS El Paso provided educational materials, books, and backpacks to over 300 families. This year, we look forward to offering another day of fun and excitement as families prepare for a successful school year. We are excited to see the community come out and join us.”
Families will also have photo opportunities with PBS KIDS characters, can watch live performances and participate in hands-on educational activities, in addition to other giveaways and fun events.
