EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 34-year-old man was arrested after evading arrest earlier this month in Horizon City, according to the Horizon Police Department.
Police say on Saturday, July 19, they were dispatched to the 15000 block of Werling Court in reference to a domestic dispute.
Through a witness statement, officers were able to identify Angel Omar Loya Rojas, 34, who caused damage to the victim’s vehicle using a metal pipe, police said.
Loya Rojas was located, who then began a foot pursuit with police. He was later arrested and charged with evading arrest or detention and criminal mischief, police said.
He was transported to the El Paso County Facility, where he was booked under a $22,500 bond.
