EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A person was airlifted after suffering severe injuries Thursday morning, July 18 at Mount Cristo Rey, according to the Sunland Park Fire Department.
The Fire Department says it responded just after 7 a.m. Thursday to a male with severe traumatic injuries on the railroad tracks at the base of Mount Cristo Rey.
The male was airlifted to a trauma center by Native Air, according to the Fire Department.
The Sunland Park Police Department and US Border Patrol also responded to the incident.
