EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A police presence is being reported at one of the medical clinics on Fort Bliss on Friday, Sept. 6.
The 1st Armored Division says there is “police activity” in the vicinity of the Mendoza Clinic.
Military Police are currently on-site assessing the situation, according to the 1st Armored Division’s Facebook page.
“There is no threat to the Fort Bliss community at this time, but we ask Soldiers and Families to avoid the area until further notice. We will continue to provide updates as they become available,” the 1st Armored Division said.
