EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — An unidentified man was killed when he pulled out in front of a semitruck and was T-boned in Northeast El Paso on Friday, Jan. 19, El Paso Police said.
The crash happened at about 11:45 a.m. at 13999 Gateway North at Stateline.
Police say the semitruck was traveling north on Gateway North when the driver of the other vehicle pulled out in front of him while traveling east on Stateline.
The injured man was transported to a local hospital where he died, police said.
The truck driver was not injured in the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
The crash closed down US 54 for several hours as well as New Mexico Highway 213.
This is the fourth fatal traffic crash in El Paso this year, compared to eight at the same time last year.
