EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Police are looking for the driver who struck and killed a 52-year-old man and fled the scene over the weekend in El Paso’s Lower Valley.
The crash happened at about 8:40 p.m. Friday, March 21 along the 7300 block of North Loop.
Jesus Fernando Perez, 52, was crossing North Loop near Warnock Way to get to a bus stop, police said. That is near El Paso Community College’s Valle Verde Campus.
An unknown vehicle struck Perez and fled, police said.
Perez was transported to the hospital and later died from his injuries, police said.
